The ongoing Chwele Strategic Market project, commissioned in December 2024, is a initiative to modernize the second-largest open-air market in Kenya. The 18-month project will deliver modern stalls, cold storage, an ICT hub, and other essential amenities to benefit over 1,000 traders and boost the local economy.
